10 August 2008 - John Oxley new keel supports

Barry Jones and Colin Crispo review the first batch of new keel supports.

Now that the garboard plates [the ones that attach directly to the bar keel] are being riveted we are able to improve the quality of the supports.

10 August 2008 - Harman fuel tank modifications

30 July 2008 - Waratah mast repair

Waratah's mast stripped down and Ken Bryant working on section damaged by rot.

13 July 2008 - Lady Hopetoun slipway incident

Lady Hopetoun at an ungainly angle after the failure of a slipway cradle.




Back on a secure footing out of the water.





Tim Drinkwater inspecting damage around starboard bow.




Damage to aft canopy.




Repairs commenced.



And a few weeks later



Work also well advanced on the canopy.

There was no engine or boiler movement as a result of the incident.
