Saturday 13 March Sydney Harbour Secrets. Enjoy a three hour cruise on our historic steam tug Waratah past Goat Island, Garden Island, Mort's Dock, Woolwich Dock, Spectacle and Cockatoo Islands. Learn about their historical significance to Sydney Harbour and the people of Sydney. Further details and booking here.
Saturday 13 March Fleet Discovery Day. Want to join us? See the Fleet working and see what you could do as a member volunteer (working member). The day includes a boat trip to the Heritage Shipyard to see the restoration work being done and inspect the Fleet vessels berthed there, followed by a Wharf 7 tour of our collections, workshops and James Craig. It includes the Fleet Induction for those who decide to join, with the essential OH&S. Set aside the day for it. Booking is essential. Saturday 27 March A starry, starry night - Earth Hour Dinner Party on board Boomerang. This year Sydney Heritage Fleet is celebrating Earth Hour by inviting our Volunteers and Members to a unique picnic. Come and join us for dinner and see the spectacular light show that will be glowing from above. Bring your friends to this unique night out and witness Sydney Skyscrapers' lights turning off. Bookings are essential as there is limited seating available on board Boomerang. A special guest speaker will give a short presentation on the Antarctic. Dinner starts at 7:00pm to 9:00 and costs $25 per person (BYO picnic) to this event. Call 9298 3888 to book your deck chair.
