Wish List

Can you help?

If you can help with the supply of any of the "wish list" of items below, either from the company you work for or through your connections or, in the case for example of (say) a television set from home or point us in the right direction, the Fleet will be most grateful. Even if items can not be donated but can be bought at "mates rates" or better that will still be a help if it means we can buy things cheaper than market prices. If, in addition to the list given below (and which will be added to over time) there are things which you see the Fleet using regularly which you believe we may be able to source better, we would like to hear from you. We would also like to hear from you if there are things that you would like to see added to the "Wish List" which are necessary for our operations.

The list, as it currently stands, is as follows:

We need to purchase, or have donated, 650 Linear metres of Kauri for the redecking project of Kanangra

The estimated cost is $3000.00. It would be wonderful to receive this amount in one donation or by achieving the total through several donations. All cash donations are tax-deductible

The timber required is described below

1. Upper Aft Deck Soffit – Material required July/August 2010

Image of board dimensions

Original Timber Material: New Zealand Kauri

Suitable replacement timber: Queensland Kauri

Dimensions are as shown in the diagram above.

Quantity required for project…………….650 linear metres.

Any donations (over $2.00) to the Museum of either cash, goods, or equipment are tax deductible and potential donors might find this helpful.

If you can possibly help, please phone (02) 9298 3888 and ask to speak to Hugh Lander.
