The "Preferences" page will now open. Near the bottom of this page, click on "Advanced".
On earlier versions of Netscape you will see a white box with "Enable JavaScript" beside it, on the right of the page. Click on that to make it contain a tick, close the "Preferences" page, then continue with your shopping!
On later versions of Netscape you will need to double click the "Advanced" bar.
This will expand, showing more items. Click on "Scripts & Plugins".
On the right, click on the "Enable JavaScript for Navigator" square to make it contain a tick, close the "Preferences" page, then continue with your shopping!
Internet Explorer
Later versions of Internet Explorer have JavaScript enabled automatically. If this is not so in your version, then click on "Help", "Contents & Index", the "Index" tab, type in "javascript", press "Enter" and follow instructions there.
Other Browsers
Click on "Help", "Index", type in "javascript", press "Enter" and follow instructions there.
