Sydney Heritage Fleet offer a range of Half Day Group Tours for social, community and learning groups such as Probus, U3A, local history societies and clubs.

Ships ‘n’ Shore

A favourite for those wanting to explore our 1874 tall ship James Craig, a west harbour cruise and tour of our working shipyards at Rozelle where our heritage vessels are moored and the steamer John Oxley (1927) and ferry Kanangra (1912) are being restored.

What is an icon? There are plenty to see cruising from our base in Pyrmont under the Sydney Harbour bridge, up close to the Opera house and further east.

All tours
• available on Thursdays and some Tuesdays
• start and end at the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM), Pyrmont
• cruise on our heritage motor launch 1940’s Harman
• include morning tea
• end for lunch at Yots’ Cafe, at the Australian National Maritime Museum with several discounted options available for $15
• It is advisable to bring a light wind jacket along for when on the harbour and bring your own water bottle also
• involve walking on gangways, stairs, wharves, boats
• require average level of fitness & passengers to wear sturdy covered footwear
• not suitable for wheelchairs or walkers
• conducted by volunteer tour guides and vessel crew
• minimum cost is total for 15 passengers ($450)
