Private Craft

In this small segment we see some of Australia’s great racing yachts – large and small. We see the luxury ‘gentleman’s cruisers’ of the pre WW1 era and of the pre WW2 period.  An advertisement for the classic ‘putt-putt’ reminds us of the times when  the economy of the day could support  mass private boat-owners who could share the same waters with the wealthy.
