Covid-19 situation update for SHF

As of Tuesday 5 May 2020

All Fleet events have been cancelled or postponed until further notice. This includes all harbour cruises, charters, youth programs, Gala Dinner and Fleet Discovery Days. Our position will be reviewed as social and workplace restrictions are eased.


As of Thursday 2 April 2020


We are certainly now in very worrying times with new social and workplace restrictions being announced and enforced by the NSW Government, on a frequent and regular basis (the most recent one being a ban on all non-essential outdoor gatherings of 2 or more). In response to this changing world we have introduced the following measures to assist in protecting the health and welfare of our customers, volunteers and staff. All activities including harbour cruises, charters, youth programs, volunteer training and Fleet Discovery Days booked up until the end of September have been postponed. In the meantime, you can register your expression of interest for our upcoming events post September by joining the waiting list. Should we be able to operate earlier, we will of course inform you directly.


Please follow the guidelines and advice given by the medical professionals and the NSW Government.


We hope to welcome you on-board one of our vessels within the near future.

We are certainly now in very worrying times! The rapid spread of Covid-19 has seen new social and workplace restrictions being announced and enforced on an unprecedented basis. In response to this changing world we have introduced the following measures to assist in protecting the health and welfare of our volunteers and staff.

ROZELLE SITE – The site is now closed for visitors and all volunteers until further notice.

PYRMONT SITE – The office, workshops, MRRC and Tall Ship James Craig are all now closed for visitors and all volunteers until further notice. You can contact the office staff team on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm via phone and email (02 9298 3888 | info@shf.org.au).
