Replacement Boiler Project

is being funded by donations to

The Maritime Society (TMS)

Lady Hopetoun

became part of the museum in 1966 and underwent major restoration before being recommissioned in 1970. She has had a very interesting life having been built as a NSW Government VIP and Vice-Regal Steam Launch carrying many important people in her time; became a relief pay boat; undertook light towage work and also ferried school children to and from Fort Denison. She now requires a new boiler and with initial cost estimates circa $200,000.00 we need your help now!
