Our maritime history lives on, and it’s yours to share!
Becoming a member of Sydney Heritage Fleet gives you access to our fleet of world class heritage vessels, a range of volunteer projects and many additional benefits.
Whether you would like to get involved in one of our volunteer projects or simply come on board to enjoy a members’ day cruise around Sydney you will be supporting a unique world class community organisation at the forefront of maritime heritage restoration, preservation and operation.
Membership Pricing (Sydney Heritage Fleet memberships run annually from 1st May to 30th April):

*Please note that new membership applications incur a joining fee of $15 in addition to the above membership rates. Expired memberships will also be subject to pay the $15 joining fee.
Please also read a copy of the Sydney Heritage Fleet Constitution. By becoming a Member with Sydney Heritage Fleet, you are agreeing to what is laid out in this constitution.

· | FREE admission to James Craig when alongside Wharf 7. |
· | Members-only cruises. |
· | 10% members discounts (or more) on charters of SHF’s vessels and event prices such as Australia Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and Tall Ship James Craig Voyages |

Volunteering with the Fleet
· | Volunteer at Sydney Heritage Fleet – a world-class maritime museum with an international reputation |
· | You choose your preferred volunteer job – with guidance from Volunteer Services and we will train you wherever possible to do your chosen job |
· | SHF is signatory to the Statement of Principles for the Recognition of Volunteers with a commitment to best practice for volunteer management. |
· | Access to model, small boat and marine engine restoration workshop, library, heritage collections, heritage docks & workshop. |
Education
· | Opportunity to participate in Fleet-run courses eg. introductory courses for new James Craig crew; Ropework courses, and steam engineering |
· | Volunteers have access to a selection of essential courses for updating Fleet qualifications |
· | Opportunity for volunteers to learn new skills, eg. sailing a square-rigger, welding, woodworking |

How do I Join (or re-join) or renew?

· | Visit the office in working hours and fill in a New Membership Application form (COVID-19 update – Office is now open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) |
