Sail in Company with Tall Ship Esmeralda

Meeting and Farewell Cruises with Esmeralda

In a very special event Chilean Navy Tall Ship Esmeralda is arriving in Sydney on August 1st 2019! Come aboard our very own James Craig to welcome or farewell the ship during a 2.5 hour harbour cruise!

In 2019 the Buque Escuela Esmeralda of the Chilean Navy is undertaking her 64th training cruise & will visit both Australia and New Zealand. Esmeralda is a steel-hulled four-masted barquentine with 335 crew, is 113m long and has a mast height of 48.5m.

On Thursday 1 August Esmeralda will arrive at Sydney Heads at 9:00 am, and will be escorted to Garden Island by Tall Ship James Craig. After visiting Australia, Esmeralda will sail up to Asia leaving Sydney on Monday 5 August 2019.

James Craig will be participating in both events to meet and farewell her in the trip down under! Tickets are available now!
