Enjoy Sydney Harbour by choosing from a range of half-day cruises created by Sydney Heritage Fleet especially for groups such as Probus, U3A, local historical societies, clubs and many others. All cruises are on the Fleet’s historic vessels.

Sydney Heritage Fleet offers a range of Half Day Group Cruises for social, community and learning groups such as Probus, U3A, local history societies and clubs.


  • are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings – other days are sometimes available by negotiation
  • start and end at the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM), Pyrmont
  • cost is $35 per passenger for most cruises, except Up the Lazy River which is $45 per passenger
  • passenger maximum is 24 but we recommend 22 and minimum 15, or if fewer than 15, the minimum payment is $525
  • cruise on the Sydney Heritage Fleet’s heritage motor launch Harman (c1943) – there is no toilet available on Harman
  • involves walking on ramps, stairs, wharves, pontoons and boats. Ships ‘n Shore includes a gangway and a steep flight of stairs on James Craig
  • require an average level of fitness and mobility, are inaccessible for wheelchairs and walkers. Nor is there any storage on Harman for those devices.
  • require passengers to wear sturdy covered footwear. It is advisable to bring a light wind jacket, a sunhat or rainwear, as appropriate, and your own water bottle
  • Our guides will meet your group at 9.45 am at the Two Anchors in the paved area outside the Australian National Maritime Museum main doors, at the western end of Pyrmont Bridge, Pyrmont.
    Group members need to arrive at Pyrmont before 9.45 am.
