Half Day Cruise for Groups

Up the Lazy River

Let our knowledgeable volunteer guides take you on a river cruise to uncover some of the history and witness the changing uses along the shoreline.

The Parramatta River is intrinsically linked to the life and culture of Aboriginal people and was the highway to nationhood for the early European settlers.

We cruise to Newington, highlighting landmarks along the way, and telling you the stories behind them.

We stop for lunch (not included). We recommend BYO, or you can pre-order on the day from a limited menu at the Armory Café, where tea and coffee is also available.

The cruise finishes back at the Australian National Maritime Museum wharf at  approximately 2.15 pm.
Your vessel will be the 1943 heritage motor launch Harman.

Group Bookings are taken for Tuesdays and Thursdays at $45 per person.

Minimum passenger numbers: 15 (or groups of fewer than 15 pay $525)
Maximum passenger numbers: 24

Our guides will meet your group at 9.45 am at the Two Anchors in the paved area outside the Australian National Maritime Museum main doors, at the western end of Pyrmont Bridge, Pyrmont. Groups members need to arrive at Pyrmont before 9.45 am.
