Sydney Harbour Secrets Cruise

 

Discover the Secrets of Sydney Harbour aboard one of the Sydney Heritage Fleet’s centenarian heritage vessels, 1902 Steam Tug Waratah, or the 1902 VIP Steam Launch Lady Hopetoun.

This unique tour is designed to encourage understanding and appreciation of the history of Sydney Harbour.

Your cruise passes important and interesting sites including Goat Island, Garden Island, Mort’s Dock, Woolwich Dock, Spectacle, Snapper and Cockatoo Islands. An experienced tour guide will tell you about their historical significance to Sydney Harbour and the people of Sydney.

Sydney Harbour Secrets tour is held once a month on a weekend and commences from our Heritage Docks & Workshop at Rozelle Bay at 1200 sharp, and finishes at 1515. Guests are invited to bring their own food and beverage for lunch.

Afternoon tea, coffee and cake is included in the ticket price of only $43 ($39 for SHF members and concessions).

Terms & Conditions

1. Waratah or Lady Hopetoun will be embarking / disembarking from the Heritage Docks & Workshop, Gate 4,
James Craig Road, Rozelle.
2. Please arrive at 1200 sharp. A guide will be there to welcome you aboard.
3. The ship will depart promptly at 1215 and return at approximately 1515.
4. Please wear sensible footwear, as you will need to access the vessel through our work site, and bring a windproof jacket.
5. Complimentary tea, coffee and cake will be served.
6. BYO picnic lunch or snack.
7. The vessel sails in almost all weather, and tickets will not be refunded due to rain.
8. If, in the opinion of the Master on the day of the Sydney Harbour Secrets Tour, the wind or sea state is deemed
unsuitable for the comfort of passengers, the cruise will be cancelled and a rain check will be issued for another day.
